About The Position

Airobotics is seeking an experienced Mining Technology Specialist to be based in Perth. The Mining Specialist role within Airobotics is key in achieving the strategic goals of the business. The Mining Specialist will be responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving company targets, as well as working with clients to establish various value propositions that meet the market needs. This position involves a significant amount of travel to meet with clients.

Airobotics has developed a pilotless automated UAV solution, the first of its kind in the global market. We provide an end-to-end, fully automatic UAV solution for collecting aerial data and gaining insights. Our industrial grade platform enables industries such as mining and oil & gas to access aerial data in a faster, safer, more efficient manner. Role will be at Airobotics Australia- Perth.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree

· Over 5 years of experience in mining technology, operations or production

· Committed to traveling up to 30% of the time

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others internally and externally

· Significant interest in industrial innovation and technologies, with the ability to communicate and identify new opportunities for application of our technology

· Ability to engage with both corporate and site-based stakeholders

Preferred

· Experience in sales within the mining industry

· Experience with GIS based products

· Experience in working as a mine surveyor, planner, or supervisor

· Tertiary qualifications in mining, geoscience, safety or related industries

· Proven track record of success in a high activity sales role, territory growth and/or quota obtainment

· Experience with CRM software, specifically salesforce

· Familiarity with Iron Ore
