About The Position

Airobotics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a quick thinker, ambitious and eager to learn. Additionally, the ideal candidate must never take no for an answer and always be willing to work hard to achieve under extreme circumstances. Additionally, we are also looking for someone who is team player.

Airobotics has developed a pilotless automated UAV solution, the first of its kind in the global market. We provide an end-to-end, fully automatic UAV solution for collecting aerial data and gaining insights. Our industrial grade platform enables industries such as mining and oil & gas to access aerial data in a faster, safer, more efficient manner. Role will be at Airobotics USA located in Scottsdale, Arizona.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Must
  • 7+ years' design and quality control experience in product manufacturing
  • Proficient with MS Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with common CAD programs
  • Need to have DFX/FMEA experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience required
  • Statistical methods and Six sigma experience preferred

Job Description:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Conduct DFX and FMEA experiences
  • Familiarity with standard time calculation
  • Line layout and line balancing
  • Design process equipment
  • Calculates labor requirements and UPH
  • Applies Lean methodology
